Now Hiring: CNC Machinist/Operator
MYT Works is an engineering, design, and manufacturing company in New York that specializes in manufacturing professional camera motion equipment primarily for the film industry. All our products and their parts are machined in-house & on-location from our shop in Brooklyn.
We’re currently hiring a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Vertical Milling, Manual Milling, and Lathe Operations. This would be a part-time position with flexibility regarding hours/days worked.

DESIRED SKILLSETS:
– 3-axis CNC Vertical Mill
– Manual Vertical Milling + Lathe
– Within .005″ +/- tolerance
– Experience with making fixtures
– Tool-making
– Probing
– Experience handling aircraft-grade aluminum (6061-T6) & stainless steel
DESIRED QUALITIES:
– Experience with OKUMA and FANUC controller.
RESPONSIBILITES:
– Set up and operate CNC machines for prototyping and production.
– Perform manual milling and lathe operations as required.
– Design and fabricate fixtures for machining processes.
– Ensure quality through meticulous checks and adjustments.
– Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– 5+ years experience
