In the heart of London, where historic charm meets modern production demands, S+O Media is making waves in the city’s tightly knit production community. Despite the challenges of working within London’s notoriously narrow real estate options and low-ceilinged historic buildings, we were able to help S+O find a way to make the most of their limited space – earning them the title of our “Coziest Installation” to date.
Collaborating with S+O’s highly skilled and technically minded team, we crafted custom accessory bundles that perfectly align with their space and workflow. Among these solutions were an innovative projector mount, utilizing existing MYT Works accessories to create a brand-new method for projector mounting that maximizes functionality despite their spacial restrictions.

Given the low, sloped ceilings, a traditional “underslung” (ceiling-mounted) camera checkout bay wasn’t an option. This is where the Opti-Glide Compact came into play as the obvious choice for their space. However, the compact design required a key modification. The Real-Time Digital Distance Readout Monitor—a core feature of every Opti-Glide system—is typically mounted on top of the focus chart or projector board, which would have made the unit too tall for their limited ceiling height. To overcome this, we worked with S+O to engineer a custom side-mounted monitor on a swivel arm. This adjustable feature has given S+O a portable, modular camera checkout bay & lens calibration system that fits perfectly into their cozy space.
