With their latest facility upgrade wanted to offer both photo and video clients the unparalleled precision and ease of operation of the Opti-Glide system.
They went with a 30ft Opti-Glide for camera checkout and lens testing, with a customized chart frame to hold a large Yotta chart from P.A.T. as well as another chart of different dimensions. A custom chart frame that could accommodate both charts was made specifically for this team and their unique workflow.

Mechanical accessories as well as the inherent modularity of the system allow the team to either raise the camera body up on the hi-hat or lower the chart in order to keep alignment between different-sized camera bodies and the calibration chart.
The system was also outfitted with a motor/keyboard accessory, which allows the operator to move the chart electronically while positioned by the camera at the pedestal workstation, as well as adaptations for the computer unit to accommodate green-energy practices.
This installation involved meticulous preparation and excellent questions by the Sigma team – it was a pleasure to work alongside their technical team to customize this unit for their unique needs.
