This is most likely due to a buildup of dust/dirt from the rails, which has collected on the wheel-bearings and preventing optimal motion.
If you’re not already, we recommend cleaning your slider rails and wheels often, particularly before and/or after use. It’s important to only use isopropyl rubbing alcohol when cleaning your slider.
KEEP IN MIND: We strongly advise against using any kind of lubrication on your slider, as it is harmful to the bearings and may cause deterioration.

If your Slider is still not performing as it should be, the wheel-bearings may be defective or damaged. We do offer replacement wheel bearings; however, they are not available for direct purchase as they must be replaced by one of our in-house technicians in order to maintain the integrity of your Slider’s precision-engineered design for optimal motion. This would entail sending your Slider into our shop for service, wherein we would replace the bearing wheels and perform general cleaning/maintenance that will keep your slider in great shape for many years to come.
