Lens technicians are sometimes an underusing hero of any feature film, commercial, documentary, or broadcast project – but not for us! We make precision lens calibration and checkout equipment that can be customized to your unique workflow and use case, with a number of thoughtfully designed plates that fit industry-standard gear.
Regardless of if you work at a rental house, a manufacturer, rehouser, in-house at a media company, or to support teams on set; you have an important role that no DP, Director, or filmmaker could do without. With the explosion of interest in vintage and rehoused glass, it is even more important to check and calibrate equipment before it leaves the facility. The Opti-Glide or Optiglide system of equipment is a lens calibration system that speeds up your workflow while also giving you the opportunity to check more marks with a higher degree of accuracy. Reticle Workflow Resources
A reticle is a piece of glass etched with fine lines, patterns, or markings. A simple reticle is used for a scope on binoculars or firearms. For work with lenses, the markings are much more complex and used in conjunction with special projectors that are capable of uniformly distributing strong and even throws of light.
