High hats, or Camera Hi-Hats, are a short, stable place on which the camera can be mounted, which can be incorporated into various types of industry setups and rigging. Sometimes you’ll see a hi-hat drilled into a wooden board, or with rubber feet like a mini-tripod. Our Hi-Hats are a totally modular camera support system – we actually got a patent on the 5.25” spacing because we’re really passionate about it! Ours can function independently as spacers, can quickly latch/unlatch between your MYT gear or Opti-Glide, and can even unscrew so you can change the height and the mounting type (75mm, 150mm, 100mm, Mitchell, etc) without needing to buy a new unit. Like all our gear, they’re machined in our shop in Brooklyn, NY out of solid blocks of aircraft-grade aluminum. This means that your investment is strong and reliable for years of shoots to come.

Which Hi-Hat is right for you? This depends. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions about your setup. There may be more options, and more stability, than you realize.
